Uri Sikdang, located in the alleys of Hapjeong-dong behind Sangsu Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul, is a baekban restaurant that welcomes customers with its food and friendliness even without a flashy signboard. Its signature dish is budae-jjigae, noted for its clean, deep flavor made by simmering ripe kimchi with ham, sausages, tofu, bean sprouts, and other ingredients.
Lim Young-woong often visited this regular restaurant since his unknown days, and even after gaining fame through 'Mr. Trot' he lived in Hapjeong-dong for a long time and continued to frequent it. Recently he even came in person carrying rice cakes, saying 'I wanted to come and say hello,' and expressed his gratitude to the owner in a heartwarming anecdote that became famous. Among fans it is called 'Lim Young-woong's home-cooked meal spot.'
