Every December, Seoul quietly turns into "Taecember." Thousands of birthday support ads light up subway stations and screens for V — one recent birthday reportedly saw over 8,000 ads across the city. BTS birthday ads are some of the biggest fan projects in the world, and the popular stations book up fast.
So if you want to plan one — for any member — the first thing you need is every birthday at a glance. Here's the full BTS birthday calendar, the months that get crowded, and when to start so you don't miss the spot you want.
1. All 7 BTS members' birthdays
Here's the whole year in one view. (Ages and years aside — these are the dates fans plan around.)
| Member | Birthday | Month to book |
|---|---|---|
| J-Hope | February 18 | Winter |
| Suga | March 9 | Early spring |
| Jungkook | September 1 | Early fall |
| RM | September 12 | Early fall |
| Jimin | October 13 | Fall |
| Jin | December 4 | Winter (busy!) |
| V | December 30 | Winter (busy!) |
And here's the same thing as a year-at-a-glance calendar — the highlighted months are the ones with a birthday to plan for:
18
9
13 · FESTA
RM 12
13
V 30
2. The months that get crowded
Two months carry two birthdays each — and one of them is the busiest window of the whole year.
3. It's not only birthdays
Seven months of the year have no member birthday — but fans still run ads. The obvious one is June 13, the group's debut anniversary, celebrated every year as FESTA (2026 marks 13 years). Comebacks, album releases, and chart milestones are also common reasons. So a "quiet" month on the calendar doesn't mean there's nothing to celebrate.
4. When should you start planning?
There's no single official deadline, but the pattern is simple: the more popular the date and station, the earlier it goes. December and September especially. A comfortable rule of thumb is to start a few weeks to a month ahead so you have time for the steps below.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| ① Pick the date & medium | Choose the member's birthday and a medium (station lightbox, digital panel, LED billboard, bus). |
| ② Design | Prepare the artwork to the medium's size and format guide. |
| ③ Fund it | Solo, or split the cost so no one fronts the whole amount. |
| ④ Book the spot | Reserve the station/screen — prime ones go first, so lock it in early. |
| ⑤ Get confirmation photos | After it runs, the on-site team sends photos — proof it went up, ready to post. |
- 🚇 Classic, long run, most photographed → subway station lightboxes & posters
- 📺 Eye-catching, video, short runs → LED / digital billboards in Hongdae, Gangnam and more
